National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholarships in Science

The Siena Heights University S-STEM Scholars Program supports science students to graduate and pursue science-related careers.

Ten scholarships available for the fall of 2019.
Benefits:
  • Receive up to $5,000 each year for four years ($20,000 total)

  • Career preparation seminars
Eligibility:
  • Major in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Non-medical Biology with interest in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Biodiversity, Ecology, Air, Water, Soil, Sustainability, Industrial Ecology, Chemicals, and/or the Environment.
  • Academically-talented (3.5 cumulative GPA or higher)
  • Financial need, based on FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  • Incoming, first-year college students at Siena Heights University.
  • Full-time enrolled students
  • U.S. Citizens
In addition to this NSF-funded scholarship opportunity, you may be eligible for additional financial assistance from Siena Heights University and from state and federal sources. To maximize financial aid from all sources, be sure to complete the FAFSA and include Siena Heights’ school code: 002316.
